Replay saving reminder?
[RF]-art555

well, I have a weird problem. I do vids from time to time and I need replays. But I often (allmoust everytime) forget to save them after the race. Auto save isn't a decision for me as its hard to sort and will take a lot of space.
I'm asking if there is a program that for example will remind you with some message to save the replay. If not, can it be done?

Cheers

Quote from DeadWolfBones  why is it that the FZR (ostensibly the fastest car) has the smallest intake restriction? (conversely: FXR has the biggest, despite being the slowest.)

Because FZR is NA and FXR is turbo I guess They have completly diffirent powerband

ok, sorry for double post but I wanna know something.

Is it possible to sign 2 cars from the same team to race in the same class?

Foe example RF 1 and RF2. 2 drivers for each car?

Quote from BurnOut69 :24 entries so far including multi class teams, so some places still available.

Would be nice to know if there is gonna be any cosmetic requirements for any class so skinners have time to work - yellow bumper for GT2?

ok, thanks, I'll post confirmation of taking part and names of drivers this evening hopefully...

Or, ride a mountain bike (big wheels) then one of those silly looking stunt bikes with small wheels, and you'll see there that even at push bike speeds gyroscopic effect is pretty pronounced.

Sounds morer like Caster work to me

Quote from BlueFlame :Can you give a bit more detail, on how the wheel feels, is it heavy? Light? does it feel quality, and does it feel that it will last a pretty long time? even with rough useage?

I own this wheel only for a few months but I like it a lot. Red rubber feels comfortable and your arms won't slip even if they are wet. FFB strength is more than enough, personally I use 100% strength set of wheel at Logitech Wingman's panel and 70% at LFS. The wheel has comfortable size and it has good system of binding so its almoust impossible to move it from the table no matter how active your steering is. Pedals are a bit light and may slide a bit on wooden floor after it's rubbered sloes get covered by dust and dirt, but after cleaning them (takes only 5 sec) it will grip again. On carpet it doesn't moves at all.
See the pics of the wheel in attachments.

You can find this wheel for 35-40 pounds. But if 60-65 pounds isn't such a problem for you and you aren't able to afford G25 go for DFP. You won't be dissapointed in any way

One more wheel that is quite chep and good is Logitech Formula Force EX, It costs around 40 pounds and works both on PC and PS2. I'm completly happy with it

Why would you want to play it on the PS3 when you can play it on the PC?

Because I'm going to buy PS3 and my PC is old.

Anyway thanks to those people who really helped/

As I know PS3 has a Linux OS. If it has OS than probably you can run LFS on PS3? Anyone tried it or atleast know if this is possible?

Hi, Currently I have pretty old PC (AMD Sempron 2200+, 512 MB RAM, Radeon 9600XT 128mb). I'm thinking about buying 1 gb RAm and I'd like to know how much performance it will give me. Is it worth it or I should better save those money for newer PC (doubt that will happend soon)

Cheers,

Arthur

Quote from Gil07 :I use a Logitech Rumblepad while I can't get a wheel... I'd say it's much better than kb or mouse.

I use it too. I had a wheel but it died so I'm playing with Gamepd for now. Just use analouge only. Its way better than keabord

Hi, I'm from RF (Racing Fanatics) team. We need a server because nobody of the team can host one. Besides our team is kind of falling apart because we can't practice together for events etc. There is a good amount of talented racers in our team but they just need to be pointed in the right direction. We'd like it to be a racing (sometimes drifting) server but I also have some laylouts for Cops n' robbers stuff and so on.

Form:
Name - >>RF<<
Max guests - 16
Cars - ALL (It can be changed by admin anyway)
Weather -1
Wind - 0

If anything must be added, just let me know.

Cheers,

Arthur

Quote from Scawen :

Which was the last version you used where it worked as expected? And how do you call Xfire? Using the run command? From a script or manually? I don't know anything about Xfire but I guess we need more info to be able to help you.

Xfire is a chat program that allows you to chat while playing games (not just LFS, but any other game). Ususally you call it with "Scroll Lock + X" during game. It was working properly in W version. It might be the Xfire that cause that problem and I'm sure they'll fix it with the patch for Xfire if its their fault.

Cheers

I don't know weather I should post it here or in the Xfire site, but you can't call Xfire in W17 version.
